What You Will Receive: You will receive a pack of 2 healthy Bat-Faced Cuphea starter plants, currently standing 5-9 inches tall. These vigorous, well-rooted plugs are shipped ready to transplant, offering a fun and affordable way to add one of the most unique flowers in the botanical world to your garden.
Whimsical "Bat" Blooms: Start a conversation with every visitor. As the name suggests, each flower bears an uncanny resemblance to a tiny bat face, featuring a vibrant red tubular "face" and deep purple ruffled "ears." These charming, quirky blooms cover the plant relentlessly, creating a fun visual display that delights kids and adults alike.
The Ultimate Hummingbird Lure: Transform your patio into a wildlife sanctuary. The tubular shape of the Cuphea flower is biologically designed for hummingbirds and butterflies. Planting this 2-pack creates a high-energy feeding station that will keep pollinators buzzing around your yard all season long.
Versatile "Spiller" for Containers: Upgrade your hanging baskets. With its semi-trailing, bushy growth habit, the Bat-Faced Cuphea looks spectacular spilling over the edges of hanging baskets, window boxes, or tall patio pots. It also serves as a fantastic, low-growing border in sunny flower beds.
Heat & Drought Warrior: Enjoy lush blooms even in the dog days of summer. Native to Mexico, this plant is highly heat-tolerant and drought-resistant once established. It thrives in the scorching sun when other annuals wither, making it a low-maintenance choice for hot climates.

I ordered a pair of bat faced cupheas knowing they'd probably be small in order to be shipped. But going from Florida to Idaho, you should have offered me the opportunity to expedite shipping. I received them in over 10 days from purchase. The roots were packed in a plastic bag but the plants were crunchy and dead. I won't order from here again if you don't take into consideration the distance you're shipping.
