The buds start as a rich chocolate-brown before unfurling into large, 3-inch blooms that create a stunning visual contrast against glossy green foliage.
-
Vertical Versatility: Customize your landscape design effortlessly. This plant is a natural scrambling vine that loves to climb trellises, fences, and arbors, creating a wall of color. Alternatively, with regular pruning, it can be kept as a bushy shrub in large patio containers, making it perfect for balconies or poolside accents.
-
Pollinator Magnet: Bring your garden to life with movement and energy. The large, open trumpet shape of the blooms acts as a beacon for hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees. Enjoy the sight of nature interacting with your garden while supporting local pollinator populations.
-
Heat-Loving Resilience: This tropical native laughs at the heat. It thrives in hot, humid summers where other delicate flowers wilt. Once established, it is a robust grower that resists common pests, providing a low-stress, high-impact floral display from late spring all the way through autumn.
-
