You will receive a healthy Pink Lemonade Blueberry Starter plant.
Most images depict mature plant.
Hardy in Zones 4 through 8 and sometimes 9
Vacinium Pink Lemonade are an unusual but very rewarding Blueberry to grow in the garden. They produce blush white flowers in spring, followed by sweetly flavoured and good textured Pink Blueberries in August. Although self-fertile, you can plant in pairs to achieve a greater crop. A real garden novelty, equally effective as an ornamental shrub with all year round interest.
'Pink Lemonade' is definitely sweeter—about two times as much—than a regular blueberry, which means it's good eaten fresh, in desserts, or as a garnish
The fruit begins as a green color and then turns white, then a lighter pink, finally aging to a darker pink. Ready-to-harvest clusters may still be green on the undersides
The plant will grow in semi-shade but does best with six hours or more of sun; otherwise it will get leggy in shade and won't produce as much fruit
Cannot be shipped to Washington State
